01 Introduction
ProfitPulse Capital ("ProfitPulse", "we", "us" or "our") is a research-first stock market research and financial education firm founded in 2014, with research desks in Mumbai and Gurugram and its head office at One Horizon Center, DLF Phase 5, Gurugram, Haryana 122002, India. We provide trading signals, investment advisory, portfolio guidance, research reports, market insights and a learning academy for informed, disciplined investors.
This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information when you visit www.profitpulsecapital.com, create an account, subscribe to a plan, attend a course, contact our team, or otherwise use our websites, applications, communications and services (together, the "Services"). It applies to everyone who interacts with us — website visitors, registered members, prospective clients and newsletter subscribers.
By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services. Where local law gives you specific data-protection rights, this policy is intended to work alongside those rights, not to reduce them.
02 Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: information you provide to us directly, information we collect automatically when you use the Services, and information we receive from trusted third parties such as payment processors and identity-verification partners. We only collect what is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
Account information
When you register, subscribe or book a consultation, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, country of residence, username, password (stored in hashed form), the plan you choose and, where required for compliance, identity or KYC information. This lets us create and secure your account and deliver the Services you have requested.
Usage information
We collect information about how you interact with our Services — the pages, dashboards and reports you view, the signals and watchlists you follow, courses and lessons you complete, search terms, features you use, and the dates and times of your activity. This helps us understand what is useful, improve our content and personalise your experience.
Device and technical information
When you access the Services, we automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, approximate location (derived from IP), browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring and exit pages, and diagnostic or crash logs. We use this to keep the Services secure, compatible and reliable across devices.
Payment information
When you purchase a subscription, course or service, payment is processed by regulated third-party payment providers. We receive limited billing details — such as your billing name, the last four digits of your card, the payment method type and transaction status — but we do not store your full card number, CVV or bank credentials on our own servers.
Communications
When you contact us by email, phone, WhatsApp, live chat, support ticket or social media, we keep a record of that correspondence, including the content of your messages and our responses. If you subscribe to The Pulse newsletter or opt into alerts, we record your preferences and engagement so we can send only what you have asked for.
03 How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for clearly defined, legitimate purposes. We do not use your personal data for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects without human oversight. Specifically, we use your information to:
- Create, operate, secure and support your account and membership.
- Deliver the research, signals, reports, courses, insights and other Services you subscribe to.
- Process payments, manage renewals, issue invoices and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised transactions.
- Personalise dashboards, recommendations and educational content to your stated interests and risk profile.
- Send service messages, security alerts, and — where you have opted in — newsletters and market notes.
- Analyse usage to maintain, troubleshoot and improve the performance, quality and safety of our Services.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulatory obligations, tax requirements and lawful requests from authorities.
- Protect the rights, property and safety of ProfitPulse, our members and the public.
Where required by law, we rely on a lawful basis for each use — including performing our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in running a secure and useful service, and compliance with legal obligations.
04 Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage, pixels and software development kits) to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how the Services are used and measure the effectiveness of our content. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function; others are optional and used only with your consent.
You can control non-essential cookies through the consent banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your mind at any time. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Services from working correctly. We honour recognised browser signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where legally required.
06 Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out in this policy, or for as long as we are required to retain it to meet legal, regulatory, tax, accounting and compliance obligations. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and the reason we hold it.
For example, we keep account records for the life of your membership and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle disputes and enforce our agreements; billing and transaction records are retained for the periods required by applicable financial and tax laws. When information is no longer required, we securely delete it or irreversibly anonymise it so it can no longer be linked to you.
07 Data Security
We take the protection of your information seriously and apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to guard it against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and loss. These include encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest, strict role-based access controls, network segmentation, continuous monitoring, regular security testing, and staff training on data protection and confidentiality.
No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You also play an important role: keep your password confidential, enable available security features, and contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. If a data breach materially affects your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
08 Your Rights & Choices
You have meaningful control over your personal information. Depending on where you live, you may be entitled to some or all of the following rights, which we honour for all our members wherever practical:
Access
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and information on how we use it.
Correction
Ask us to update or fix information that is inaccurate, outdated or incomplete.
Deletion
Request that we erase your personal data, subject to legal and regulatory retention duties.
Opt-out
Withdraw consent, unsubscribe from marketing, or object to certain processing at any time.
Portability
Receive a copy of the data you provided to us in a structured, machine-readable format.
Non-discrimination
Exercise your rights without receiving reduced service or a different price because you did.
To exercise any of these rights, email Shubhamstockresearch@proton.me from the address linked to your account, or use the privacy controls in your account settings. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of each message. If you believe we have not resolved your concern, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
09 International Transfers
ProfitPulse is headquartered in India and serves members across more than 40 countries. To provide the Services, your information may be processed and stored in India and in other countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your own country.
Wherever your data is processed, we apply the same standards described in this policy and put appropriate safeguards in place for international transfers — such as reputable providers, contractual protections and recognised transfer mechanisms where required — so that your information remains protected.
10 Children's Privacy
Our Services deal with investing, trading and financial markets and are intended solely for adults aged 18 years and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not direct our Services to minors.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact Shubhamstockresearch@proton.me. If we learn that we have collected data from someone under 18, we will delete that information promptly.
11 Third-Party Links
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, tools, brokers, exchanges and social platforms that we do not own or control — for example, market data providers, payment pages or social media profiles. These links are provided for convenience and reference only.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or security. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website or application you visit before providing any personal information.
12 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements or the Services we offer. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice — such as an in-app message or an email to registered members.
We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the Services after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Services and may contact us to close your account.
13 Contact Us
If you have questions, concerns or requests about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your personal information, our privacy team is here to help. We aim to acknowledge every enquiry promptly and resolve it fairly.
Prefer to talk it through? You can also book a consultation or reach us on WhatsApp. For a full explanation of the risks associated with investing, please read our Disclaimer and Terms of Use.
